\nI hope everybody gets this okay... I tried to add the names from the group membership list under the assignments tab, but the list includes a Danielle Reich, who doesn't seem to be a part of the class anymore. ?? sooo that leaves us with 5 people, which may throw a wrench into the system.

\nKristin, Christina, and I were in the chat and developed a plan for completing the paper. I spoke to the professor previously, and she said that the bulk of the paper should be on general information about working with international populations, and it should gradually narrow down into more specific populations by the end of the paper, so here's what I was thinking. Since section 6 is on special issues or concerns, each person could select a subtopic and include information on that subtopic. For example, I know that most people are interested in discussing human trafficking, but I would like to eventually work with refugees, so I can include some information on refugees in section 6. If everybody else could pick a different topic then I think we have a good shot at covering everything. Also, I'd like the opportunity to be the final editor of the paper, so I can take that responsibility and work on the Intro and Conclusion sections (1 and 8). (Kristin, I know you said that you wanted the conclusion, so if you want to take it, we can work that out.). Christina said that she would like to work on the future discussions section (7).

\nSo if everybody works on part 6, that leaves sections 2, 3, 4, and 5.

\nChristina, I was thinking that sections 2 and 7 are kind of simliar (and considering that we're now one person short), if you want to take the background (section 2) too, you wouldn't have to do a lot of extra research. If not, then I can take that one too if necessary.

\nSo that would leave sections 3, 4, and 5 for everybody else. I know that they look long, but if all of the subquestions are answered, it should be pretty easy.
\n
\nIf this sounds okay with everybody, who would like to take the remaining three sections, and do you have a topic in mind for briefly discussing in section 6?

\np.s. instead of everybody sending a ton of emails at the same time, if you guys would like to use the discussion tab on the wiki, it's easier to read (just my opinion). I'll post this there also.

\nAlso, we have a month before it's due, but there could be a lot of work on the back end, so if we set a due date for about 4 or 5 days before the paper is due, that should give me plenty of time to organize and edit everything.

\nSeeing as how we will all be posting everything on the page and editing\/reviewing it before we hand it in to Professor Hazlett, i think we will be able to get it done a lot faster than i previously thought we would. Everything that i am currently working on for my other classes is all due by monday the 26th so it would be better for me to have this project in on tuesday. So i will be posting my part on Tuesday and will help in the review on the 28th and the 29th. Sorry for the delay, but i work 40 hours a week and have limited time for everything, so seeing as how this is due the latest out of all my assignments it is the last one i will complete. I asked the professor if we should keep the topic broad or if we should focus on a specific group, and she said that we should keep it broad then describe certain groups based off of the research information we find. I'm not sure what everybody else's preferred specialization would be, but I would like to discuss issues pertaining to refugees. I know that some other people are more interested in human trafficking and other areas.
